Governor Patrick addressed the CIM membership at the organization’s Annual Dinner. The Governor spoke of the recent accomplishments of his administration and the Legislature as the Accelerated Bridge Program has been launched and the Transportation Bond bill was passed. The bills translate into $10 billion of investments in statewide roads and bridges with $725 million being invested this year alone.
The Governor expressed his commitment to reform the way the State’s transportation agencies work and his desire to streamline operations, eliminate redundancies and modernize the bidding process.
The 35th Annual Business Dinner had 300 members in attendance as well as prominent guests such as Commissioner Paiewonsky and House Ways and Means Chairman Charley Murphy. S&R’s entire construction management staff and executives attended the May event.
